JEFFERSON
PARK AND PAINT BRUSH
This is an image I captured during a backpacking
trip I took with my wife, Debbie. It very much
typifies the beauty of the Mount Jefferson wilderness.
Beautiful flower displays, abundance of water
and awe inspiring views of one of my favorite
volcanoes, Mount Jefferson. After hiking in
to Jefferson Park, we scouted the area for photo
worthy scenes. I thought that the best images
from this location would occur the next morning
but was pleasantly surprised by the light taking
on a soft golden hue. I quickly composed this
image, my favorite of the evening and perhaps
the highlight of a great trip. |
