Sea Stacks
This dramatic coastal image was captured
on the same day as my tide pool image, which
was my Mother's birthday. My Mother has often
been described as strong, determined, opinionated,
pragmatic and occasionally absent minded. This
image was technically a rather simple one to
capture. There were no difficult depth of field
issues, the air was calm, my subject matter
was stationary and the light was dramatic. The
only challenge I faced was that of my absent
minded Mother wandering into my field of view.
She was drawn into this scene as a moth is inexplicably
drawn to a flame. Keep in mind that my mother
is a bright articulate woman without any mental
deficits that our family is aware of but this
doesn't keep her from occasionally being absent
minded. Eventually, I caught a Mom-free moment
and captured this stunning coastal scene! |
