Mt. Hood
Larch Grove
While on our way to a trail head high on the
flanks of Mt. Hood, a good friend, Max, and
I stumbled across this larch Grove. Normally
I don't like the appearance of backlit scenes.
In this instance, however, backlighting served
to soften the texture of the golden needled
larch trees while contrasting nicely with Mt
Hood's blustery powder covered flanks over 6,000
feet above. |
