Broken
Top and Buttercups
I like the idea of shooting a familiar landmark
from a different location or with a fresh perspective
in relation to other photographers. This requires
lots of off trail exploration which I relish.
Unfortunately I often don’t have as much
exploration time as I’d like and therefore
I rely on friends to help discover the unique
perspectives which I crave. This is another
image which was first pointed out to me by my
good friend, Troy. This is not a double exposure,
this really is rocky volcanic Broken Top fronted
by an expansive, lush gold buttercup field.
It is exactly the new perspective on a well
known landmark that I prefer. |
