Last Cutting
The agricultural community of Tumalo, adjacent
to Bend offers many attractive views of the
three sisters mountains. This image was carefully
timed to combine fresh cut hay with an early
dusting of snow on the mountains. The unique
appearance of the hay in the foreground of this
image is due to a pink pre dawn glow cast down
upon hay coated with an early morning frost.
These factors contribute to what is one of my
favorite images of the Tumalo area which is
quite familiar to me. |
